Đorđe Marković was born in 1986 in Novi Sad, Serbia. He graduated with a BA and MA degree from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, specializing in Graphic Arts in the class of Professor Zoran Todović. He is currently a PhD candidate in Art under the mentorship of artist Igor Antić.

His artistic practice encompasses graphic arts, drawing, sculpture, installation, scenography, design, film and video. His works and scenographic projects have been presented in numerous exhibitions and productions in Serbia and abroad. He has also participated in projects funded by the European Union as a mentor in the field of visual arts.

Marković is a recipient of the Erste Bank Art Award. He is currently a Senior Associate at the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad, at the Department of Drawing, and works as a Brand Designer at Alexandar Cosmetics.
